Maintenance Technician

Myers Park Country Club is seeking a reliable and efficient Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a great “all hands-on deck” attitude and working knowledge of how to maintain and make general repairs around the clubhouse. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, HVAC, woodwork, electrical systems, kitchen equipment, walk-in coolers, ice machines, furniture, etc.
• Upkeep of appliances, elevators, ventilation systems, and building structures.
• Perform repairs to plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and other maintenance tasks.
• Maintain air conditioning units, refrigerators, small motors, fans, and lamps.
• Provide emergency repairs and troubleshooting for all equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance as per club procedures.
• Install tile, drywall, and perform grouting repairs and wall patches.
• Handle repairs to locks, plumbing fixtures, electrical outlets, and minor carpentry.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Physical Demands and Environment:

• Stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, reach.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in hot, humid, and noisy environments.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of maintenance experience; experience in a country club setting is a plus.
• 1-2 years in HVAC preferred.
• Electrical experience preferred.
