Maintenance Technician – Bartlett Tree Research Laboratory

Charlotte, NC – Regular Full‑Time

• Assist with installation and repair of new and existing irrigation systems.
• Replace light bulbs, switches, and basic electrical parts.
• Perform light plumbing and HVAC maintenance.
• Assist with fencing, gates, and small equipment repairs.
• Support general upkeep and other assigned tasks.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work long hours independently in various weather and temperature extremes, including some office work.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and work in strenuous conditions.
• Independent work ethic.

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with guests and co‑workers, and with peer professionals.
• Willingness to learn and to ask questions without hesitation.
