Kenan Advantage Group is North America's largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food products across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We are seeking Diesel Mechanics of all levels, including Apprentice, Levels I, II, III, and HM183 certified, to join our team.
Pay Range and BenefitsHourly pay ranges from $21.00 to $45.00, based on skills and experience. Benefits include paid training, pay increases upon training completion, boot and tool allowances, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K match, paid vacation, and holidays.
Position SummaryPerform vehicle maintenance and repairs on Class 5 through Class 8 commercial vehicles, including tank trailers, in a fast-paced environment, adhering to FMCSA regulations.
Responsibilities- Perform general property and vehicle maintenance and repairs safely and accurately.
- Train and assist other technicians; build proficiency with maintenance software and record keeping.
- Obtain necessary certifications for advanced roles, including DOT inspector certification for HM183.
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance (1-5 years), with relevant certifications such as Air Brake and EPA 609.
- For HM183: proof of 3-year tank testing inspector experience or equivalent.
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds; assistance needed for heavier items.
