What You'll Do Perform advanced-level plumbing work as assigned by Plant Engineering Services leadership to maintain and improve the service life of facility assets, including physical structures, HVAC, utilities, and grounds. Troubleshoot, repair, and install plumbing systems and related equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with healthcare standards. Support patient care areas by maintaining medical gas systems (medical air, oxygen, vacuum, nitrogen, compressed air, nitrous oxide).

Inspect and evaluate plumbing systems for performance and efficiency improvements. Assist in maintaining and repairing kitchen, restroom, and specialty equipment throughout the hospital. Partner with team members and departments to deliver excellent customer service and respond promptly to maintenance requests with professionalism and care. Ensure all work complies with life safety, plumbing, and building codes. What We're Looking For

Education:

High school diploma, required. One (1) year of vocational school, required.

Experience:

At least five (5) years of experience in commercial plumbing installation and maintenance, required.

Experience with reverse osmosis (RO) systems and rehabilitation pools, required. Healthcare experience, preferred.

Licensure/Certification :
Valid city/county journeyman's card and/or plumber's license from the state of employment, required. Valid driver's license in the state of employment, required. Med Gas certification, preferred. Additional

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of life safety, plumbing, and building codes. Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing and mechanical systems using a variety of testing equipment. Proficiency in reading technical service manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Excellent customer service skills and commitment to supporting a safe, healing environment for patients and families. Additional Skills Preferred:

Experience with electrical and electronic systems. Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management systems. Strong listening skills to detect changes in machine/equipment operation.
