What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a plumbing technician with a passion for commercial service and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Responsibilities:- Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances.
- Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues like leaks and blockages.
- Cutting, threading, and assembling pipes using methods like welding, soldering, or gluing.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints to plan installations and repairs.
- Ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with other trades (e.g., electricians, HVAC technicians) on larger projects.
- Responding to emergency calls and providing timely, effective solutions.
- Communicating with clients to explain repairs, address inquiries, and ensure satisfaction.
- Recommending and performing preventive maintenance to avoid future issues.
Education & Licensing:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience &
Skills:
At least 2 years of practical plumbing experience (commercial experience preferred).
Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical knowledge.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations, with a willingness to learn.
Comfort with using hand and power tools.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license for travel to job sites.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and working in various conditions.
