Commercial Construction Drywall Foreman and mechanics

This full-time, on-site role for Commercial Construction Drywall Foreman, mechanics and finishers (metal stud and gypsum wallboard) is based in Charlotte, NC. The Foreman will oversee drywall crews, coordinate daily work schedules, read and interpret construction drawings, and ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications and safety standards. Mechanics will perform hands‑on tasks such as layout, framing, hanging, finishing, and repairs for commercial drywall systems.

Both Foreman and mechanics will collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades, maintain clean and safe job sites, and support training and mentorship of team members.

• Strong commercial construction experience, including work on commercial drywall projects.
• Hands‑on skills in framing and carpentry for interior commercial builds.
• Proficiency in plastering and remodeling tasks related to commercial interiors.
• Ability to read blueprints, understand specifications, and plan daily work sequences.
• Experience leading crews (for Foreman roles), including delegating tasks and monitoring quality (minimum two years).
• Commitment to safety practices and compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Charlotte, NC.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and willingness to train and mentor others.
• Previous experience in a Foreman or lead mechanic role in commercial construction is highly beneficial.
