The Project SEARCH Employment Specialist will support the Project SEARCH Program, provide community assistance, and assist individuals with I/DD in all phases of supported employment services. This includes searching for jobs, following up on job leads, and networking with employers.

• Provide vocational services to individuals with IDD, i.e., writing resumes, looking for work, applying for jobs, attending interviews, attending job orientations, and providing on-the-job training.
• Support clients with other vocational skills needed to seek a job of their choice, train and maintain employment.
• Provide services by assessing clients' skills, talents, and weaknesses to increase opportunity for employment.
• Help clients explore new things, pursue their interests, and facilitate socialization.
• Oversee client participation in activities as described in their goal plan.
• Maintain documentation.
• Maintain health and safety of everyone.
• Provide reliable transportation.
• Maintain credentials (training).
• Assure confidentiality.

• One‑year Supported Employment/Job Coach experience working with I/DD & Special populations.
• A high school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to provide client transportation using your own vehicle.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.

Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30 am–4:00 pm; weekends and/or evenings as needed.

Location: 28217 zip code, but can and will vary based on client needs; travel will involve multiple locations/zip codes.

Rate: $18.00 per hour.

Sign‑on Bonus: $500 SIGN‑ON BONUS ($250 at hire, and the remaining $250 after 6 months of employment).

Job Type: Full‑time; 40 hours per week.
