We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices in a cloud-native environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern Java frameworks, cloud platforms, and messaging systems, and will be responsible for building scalable and secure backend solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
- Develop, test, and deploy APIs and microservices using Java and Spring frameworks.
- Write clean, tested, and well-documented Java code.
- Integrate with external web services and third-party APIs.
- Produce and consume messages from Kafka topics.
- Ensure APIs and microservices follow industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and bugs.
- 4+ years of experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Batch.
- Experience with Kubernetes services and Oracle DB.
- Experience with Apigee/API Gateway.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL.
- 2–4 years of experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS).
- Experience working with Kafka topics.
- 1+ years of experience with Splunk.
- Experience in content authoring tools; RWS Tridion preferred.
- Familiarity with BDD and TDD methodologies, including unit and integration testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience handling production support and issue resolution.
