Senior App Developer Team Lead

Overview

Lead Senior Mobile Developer — Charlotte, NC — Full Time Position

We partner with a U.S.

-based streaming technology platform that powers branded video experiences across mobile and living room devices. They are seeking a hands-on mobile developer who can also help guide existing developers and expand into Connected TV platforms.

• Build and ship mobile apps for iOS and Android using Flutter/Dart
• Mentor and support mobile developers through code reviews, sprint planning, and release ownership
• Integrate playback, analytics, authentication, and monetization into applications
• Collaborate with design, backend, and product teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
• Expand into Connected TV development as needed (Apple TV, Roku, Android TV/Fire TV, Samsung/LG)

• Strong Flutter/Dart experience with apps delivered in the App Store and Google Play
• Knowledge of state management (Bloc, Riverpod) and platform integrations
• Familiarity with Swift or Kotlin for bridging into native iOS/Android when needed
• Experience with app store submissions, versioning, and CI/CD pipelines
• Comfort reviewing code, setting architecture direction, and mentoring peers

• Experience with one or more Connected TV platforms:
• tvOS (Swift, AVPlayer, Fair Play, Focus Engine, TVML/TVJS)
• Roku (BrightScript, Scene Graph, RAF)
• Android TV/Fire TV (Kotlin/Java, Exo Player, Widevine, Leanback/Compose for TV)
• Samsung Tizen or LG webOS (JavaScript/HTML5)
• Familiarity with streaming protocols (HLS/DASH), captions, and DRM
