Mobile Application Developer

Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

We’re seeking experienced Mobile Developers with strong native development skills in both iOS and Android platforms to join our team. This is a 12-month contract opportunity based in Charlotte, NC, requiring onsite presence at least 3 days per week.

You will be part of a high-impact engineering team, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to build, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade mobile applications for top-tier clients.

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS and Android applications using Swift and Kotlin
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to define app features and interfaces
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and quality across mobile platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and application bugs
• Integrate third-party SDKs and APIs as needed
• Publish apps to the App Store and Google Play
• Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code using Git or Bitbucket
• Support and implement application updates, Dev Ops practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Deliver engineering solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, development, integration, and testing, based on a proven Agile methodology
• Demonstrate hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages
• Collaborate effectively with diverse client engagement teams, fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment
• Stay current on technology trends and provide strategic recommendations to support client needs

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 6+ years of professional experience in native mobile app development for iOS and Android
• Strong proficiency in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android)
• Experience integrating vendor SDKs and working with back-end services
• Familiarity with Apple’s HIG and Android UI/UX best practices
• Proficient with Git

• Strong understanding of Dev Ops

• Bonus:
  Experience with Full Stack Development or Java as a primary backend skill
• Ability to work in a client-facing role with strong communication and collaboration skills
