Oracle PLSQL Developer

Job Description

Senior PL/SQL Oracle developer role. Seeking programmers with a commitment to strong design principles, automated unit/integration testing, and highly productive in a fast paced environment.

• Work on complex large scale PL/SQL stored procedures in Oracle
• Consult with team architects and development leads regarding code architecture and design
• Write SOLID testable code
• Develop unit and integration tests for automated code coverage of components developed
• Run explain plans to ensure query optimization
• Perform manual unit testing when automation is not available
  
  Document and conduct code reviews of all code changes prior to user acceptance testing
• Participate in and contribute to Agile ceremonies
• Has 3+ years Agile experience (Scaled Agile certification preferred)
• Experience with PL/SQL Oracle Stored Procedures, Splunk
• Preferred experience:
  
  Test Driven Development
• Proficiency in JIRA
• Ability to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously, adhere to tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
• Relevant IT experience (SDLC - Waterfall/Agile) preferably within a financial domain
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with virtual teams
