This position is based at our on‑site Tech Hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lowe's Tech Hub is an ultramodern work environment, complete with cutting‑edge technology, collaborative work spaces, an on‑site barista and Zen Garden, and other perks to enhance your work experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize Spring Boot to streamline the development process, ensuring efficient and scalable applications.
  • Leverage both Java and Python for versatile and robust backend solutions.
  • Design and implement APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different services and applications.
  • Enhance domain search capabilities to improve accuracy and relevance in search results.
  • Develop and refine search ranking algorithms to prioritize the most relevant results for users.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in software development or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) through iterative agile development.
  • 2 years' experience working with any of the following: frontend technologies (user interface/user experience), middleware (microservices and application programming interfaces), database technologies, or Dev Ops.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • We encourage you to apply even if you do not have all the preferred skills or experience.
  • 2 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software environment and developing and implementing business systems within an organization.
  • Experience working with Google Vertex AI for model deployment and management.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems such as Rabbit

    MQ, Kafka, or Active

    MQ.
  • Experience with No

    SQL databases like Mongo

    DB, Cassandra, etc.
