Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to lead and contribute to complex software engineering initiatives.

This role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying Java-based applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and modern development practices.

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within the technical domain.
• Contribute to strategic planning and architecture for large-scale systems.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document Java-based applications and services.
• Review and resolve technical challenges, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Act as a technical lead and escalation point for development teams.
• Collaborate with peers, stakeholders, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve project goals.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11 or later preferred).
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Java EE.
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and testing tools like Cucumber, Postman, and Playwright.
• Experience with Oracle DB and relational database management.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns (e.g., MVC, Structural).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Dev Ops).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as PCF or Azure.
• Working knowledge of container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Open Shift.
• Experience with middleware tools like MQ and API management platforms like Apigee.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops tools.
• Exposure to secure coding practices and performance optimization.
