Base Pay Range

$/yr - $/yr

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain core Java applications for payment processing platforms.
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Kafka for real-time messaging and event-driven architectures.
  • Integrate and optimize Mongo

    DB databases for high availability, performance, and data consistency.
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance related to financial transactions.
  • Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to payment systems and associated technologies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to payments and data management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in Core Java development.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Strong background in payments/banking domain, with understanding of payment protocols, standards, and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of payment security standards such as PCI DSS.
  • Hands‑on experience with Kafka for messaging and stream processing.
  • Solid experience working with Mongo

    DB, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Knowledge of security practices related to financial data and transactions.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
Preferred (but not required)
  • Experience with other databases like SQL or No

    SQL.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to Dev Ops tools and CI/CD pipelines.
