Ally Bank has an opening for Principal - Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC responsible for working directly w/ product owners to ensure stories contain the right balance of technical direction, best practices, and level of detail. Bachelor's Degree in Comp. Sci., Software Eng., or related, + 5 yrs. exp. or Masters Comp. Sci., Software Eng., or related, + 3 years of exp.
Must have exp. with:
Java, spring framework, spring-boot;
Building and dealing w/ application interfaces such as RestAPI and/or SOAP interfaces; CI/CD deployments;
Gitlab, Jenkins, Git Pipelines;
Build frameworks such as Maven, gradle etc;
Work w/ RDBMS products such as Oracle, MSSQL; AWS or equivalent cloud technology (GCP, Azure); UI design using frameworks such as Angular7, React
JS, veu, Node Js;
Using and leveraging application monitoring and observation tools such as Splunk, App Dynamics, Dynatrace; exp. w/ software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support; and Unit test automation frameworks such as Mockito, Junit etc. Hybrid position, employee must live in commutable distance to Ally Charlotte office, no travel req’d.
