Senior C# .NET Software Engineer

Our client is seeking a senior‑level C# .NET Software Engineer to join a small, high‑impact custom software development team. This is a hands‑on, full‑stack role for someone who thrives in fast‑moving environments and takes pride in building reliable, well‑tested systems. You’ll work on complex, high‑volume transaction processing applications while collaborating closely with a strong technical lead and owning quality from development through deployment.

Location:

Onsite 5 days a week in Charlotte, NC or Columbus, IN

Compensation:
This job is expected to pay about $60 – 62/HR W2

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and enhance C# .NET applications across front-end, API, and backend services
• Develop and maintain custom services that process millions of real‑time and reprocessed transactions
• Own quality by writing unit tests, improving verification logic, and contributing to automated QA initiatives
• Collaborate with a small engineering team to deliver new features and system enhancements
• Support and improve existing systems, including performance optimization and reliability improvements

What Gets You the Job:

• Approximately 5+ years of experience developing software using C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Experience building service‑based, data‑intensive applications with real‑time processing requirements
• Strong testing and QA mindset, including unit testing and quality ownership in the absence of a dedicated QA team
• Comfort working in a true full‑stack role across front‑end and backend responsibilities
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with complex business logic
