Software Developer - East Coast - (1536)

Location: Remote – East Coast (candidate must reside in Eastern Time Zone; travel to Charlotte, NC office 2-3 times a year)

Schedule: Full-time, Exempt

Travel: Minimal

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $125,000 per year

What You’ll Do
  • Assist with the development, testing, and deployment of robust applications using Angular, Typescript, and Node.
  • Help with unit testing, repository management and pipelines such as continuous integration.
  • Collaborate with the CIO, Software Manager, technical team, and business stakeholders to deliver on prioritized development initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues quickly to maintain momentum on critical projects.
  • Integrate systems using middleware solutions and APIs.
  • Incorporate AI/ML features where they can create meaningful impact, focusing on practical, scalable and secure solutions.
  • Maintain code quality, documentation, and adherence to best practices in agile environments.
  • Proactively learn and apply new tools, frameworks, or technologies as project needs evolve.
We’re Looking for Someone Who
  • Has strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to dive deep into technical challenges
  • Is able to provide indirect support for programming and development initiatives as needed.
  • Is flexible and resourceful, with the ability to adopt new technologies quickly
  • Enjoys working on a small development team and thrives in collaborative settings such as peer programming sessions
  • Is a team‑first player who remains positive when asked to take on tasks that indirectly support programming projects
  • Balances technical innovation with cost and resource constraints
  • Communicates effectively with strong verbal and written skills, and can collaborate seamlessly with both technical and non‑technical colleagues
  • Minimum of five years of software‑development experience
    • Must include hands‑on experience in Angular, Typescript, and Node.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and electronic databases
  • Must own an iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC systems
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsor ships are not available

Bonus points: if you have working knowledge of Snowflake and data warehousing concepts and models, proficiency in Python, especially around data analysis, and/or UI/UX design experience!
