Job Description

Highly skilled Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IIDMC) Specialist to lead the migration of on-premises ETL processes from Informatica version 10 to Informatica Cloud. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data integration, ETL development, and cloud technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure a seamless transition to cloud‑based solutions while maintaining high standards of data quality and performance.

Migration Planning and Execution

• Develop and execute migration strategies to transition ETL processes from on‑premises Informatica tools to Informatica Cloud (IICS).

• Analyze current ETL workflows and data pipelines to identify migration requirements and challenges.

• Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity during the migration process.

2. ETL Development and Optimization

• Design, develop, and optimize cloud‑based ETL workflows and data integration solutions using Informatica Cloud.

• Leverage Informatica Cloud features to automate and streamline data processes.

• Ensure compliance with best practices for performance, scalability, and security in cloud environments.

3. Data Integration and Transformation

• Integrate data from various sources, including databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud platforms.

• Transform and cleanse data to meet business requirements and ensure data consistency.

• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to define and implement data models and schemas.

4. Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and align migration efforts with business goals.

• Provide technical guidance and training to team members and end‑users on Informatica Cloud tools.

• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance

• Perform rigorous testing to validate data accuracy, integrity, and performance post‑migration.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and migration issues.

• Implement monitoring and error‑handling processes to maintain data flow stability.

6. Documentation and Support

• Maintain detailed documentation of migration plans, ETL workflows, and processes.

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for cloud‑based ETL solutions.

• Continuously improve and update data integration practices.
