• Job Title: Java Developer
• Location: Charlotte, NC
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid
• Client Industry: Financial Services
• Duration: 12 months contract
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

• Develop and deploy Java 17/Spring 6 microservices in a Kubernetes/Open Shift environment.
• Design and implement database interactions using Mongo
  
  DB or Oracle, optimizing for performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-based application issues to ensure system stability.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate on complex technical solutions.
• Monitor application performance and implement improvements to maintain optimal efficiency.
• Resolve application performance issues such as memory leaks, high CPU usage, and thread locks.
• Develop and maintain high‑traffic Tier 0 applications.

• 8+ years of hands‑on Java development experience.
• Proficiency with Java 17 and Spring 6.
• Extensive experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong Kubernetes/Open Shift (or general cloud) deployment expertise.
• Database proficiency with Oracle.
• Experience resolving application performance issues such as memory leaks, high CPU usage, and thread locks.
• Experience working on high‑traffic, Tier 0 applications.

• Implementation of security best practices for cloud‑based applications.
• Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, and other modern authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience with automation and Dev Ops practices.
• Contribution to technical strategy development and architectural design.
• Strong stakeholder management, business acumen, and expertise in agile development and risk management.
• Prior banking or financial experience.

Hourly Rate: $60–$65 per hour (may vary based on qualifications).
