Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot framework.
• Implement messaging solutions with Kafka to enable real‑time data processing and communication between services.
• Integrate with Mongo
  
  DB and other databases to store and retrieve dynamic banking data efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including UX/UI designers, QA, and business analysts to deliver high‑quality software.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology stack.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance in a production environment.

• Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
• Experience with Spring Boot framework for microservices development.
• Hands‑on experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems.

• Understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud deployment practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced banking environment.
• Previous experience in banking or financial services is a plus.
