* We are seeking an experienced  
** Azure Data Engineer
** with deep expertise in building scalable enterprise data pipelines, modern data architectures, and API integrations. A primary focus of this role is extracting, transforming, and ingesting HR and organizational data from  
** SAP Success Factors
** into an  
** Azure Databricks
** platform.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using  
** Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (PySpark), ADLS, and SQL** , working directly with  
** SAP Success Factors APIs (OData, Compound Employee)
** to power downstream enterprise applications and analytics platforms.

** Key Responsibilities*

** Data Pipeline Architecture & Engineering:
** Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines within Microsoft Azure to support enterprise data platform initiatives.

** SAP Success Factors Integration:
** Develop automated data ingestion pipelines extracting HR, organizational, compensation, job, recruiting, and performance data from  
** SAP Success Factors into Azure Databricks** .

** API Ingestion & Orchestration:
** Leverage  
** SAP Success Factors OData APIs, Compound Employee APIs** , and related integration mechanisms, using  
** Azure Data Factory (ADF)
** for orchestration, scheduling, and pipeline management.

** Data Transformation & Processing:
** Build data processing and transformation solutions using  
** Azure Databricks, PySpark, and advanced SQL** .

** Storage & Data Modeling:
** Manage enterprise data within  
** Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
** and Azure-based data platforms, building data models, stored procedures, and incremental/full-load extraction strategies.

** Data Quality & Governance:
** Implement robust data validation, reconciliation, error-handling, and performance tuning across all integration workflows.

* Cross-Functional Collaboration:

** Partner with HR business analysts and technical stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into production-grade engineering solutions.

** Qualifications & Required Experience*

** Core Azure Stack:
** Proven track record as an Azure Data Engineer with expertise in  
** Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and complex SQL** .

** SAP Success Factors API Ingestion (Required):
** Hands-on experience pulling and processing data from  
** SAP Success Factors
** using  
** OData APIs, Compound Employee APIs** , or API-based integration patterns directly into Databricks/Azure architectures.

** Big Data & Scripting:
** Strong proficiency with  
** PySpark and Python
** for data transformation and distributed processing within Databricks.

** Pipeline Design:
** Strong background designing efficient incremental load, delta lake, and full-load extraction strategies ensuring data integrity and scalability.

** Communication:
** Excellent communication skills to interact with technical architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
