About 5 years of experience in Mobile QA or Mobile QA Engineering - Has personally built, run, debugged and maintained Appium test automation in Java on a real project
- Has automated tests on iOS and Android
- Can clearly explain their own hands‑on work, not just what their team did
What "Hands-on Appium" Means
This role is mainly about writing and maintaining automated tests with Appium. A strong candidate can explain:
- How their framework was set up and what test cases they automated
- How their tests ran in a CI/CD pipeline (for example Jenkins)
- How they fixed failing or flaky tests
- How they set up and ran tests on Android emulators, iOS simulators or real devices
- Strongest proof
: a Git Hub repository or portfolio showing their Appium work
