In this critical mobile application development and software engineering role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced native iOS applications for Apple's ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring a distinguished background in mobile software engineering, deep technical mastery in Swift, Objective-C, and iOS frameworks, and strong experience delivering high-performance applications in a hybrid workplace environment.

As an iOS Developer in Charlotte, NC or California (Hybrid) via Vysystems, you will serve as a principal technical authority responsible for engineering robust, scalable, and user-centric iOS applications. Your daily responsibilities will encompass designing and building advanced applications for the iOS platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features, and continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

This opportunity is open to C2C (Corp-to-Corp) candidates who are local to the Charlotte, NC or California regions.

• Design, build, test, and maintain advanced native applications for the iOS platform using Swift and Objective-C.
• Collaborate proactively with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineering squads to design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, responsiveness, and security of mobile applications across various iOS devices.
• Identify and correct application bottlenecks, memory leaks, and performance issues using advanced debugging tools.
• Maintain rigorous code quality standards, peer code reviews, and automated testing frameworks (XCTest).
• Integrate mobile applications with robust RESTful APIs, JSON data feeds, and cloud backend services.
• Implement secure data storage, authentication protocols, and encryption standards in compliance with corporate policies.
• Participate in agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and software release cycles.
• Stay up-to-date with new iOS platform releases, design guidelines, and emerging mobile technologies.
• Author comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and application release runbooks.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional mobile software development experience focusing on native iOS applications.
• Deep technical proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, and core iOS frameworks (Core Data, Core Location, UIKit, SwiftUI).
• Proven practical experience integrating RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and web services into iOS apps.
• Solid working knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns (MVVM, VIPER), and reactive programming (Combine/RxSwift).
• Experience with Git version control, CI/CD mobile build pipelines, and App Store deployment procedures.
• Outstanding analytical problem-solving, debugging, and cross-functional communication capabilities.
• Mandatory residency/work authorization:
  Open to local C2C (Corp-to-Corp) candidates in Charlotte, NC or California.

• Professional certifications such as Apple Certified iOS Developer or cloud platform certifications (AWS/Azure).
• Prior professional experience developing large-scale enterprise or financial services iOS applications.
• Familiarity with cross-platform mobile frameworks (Flutter, React Native).
• Immediate availability for hybrid contract mobilization in Charlotte, NC or California.
