Our client, a financial services organization supporting Open Banking capabilities, is seeking a Feature Lead to join their team. As a Feature Lead, you will be part of the Open Banking organization, supporting the platform and integration work that enables inbound and outbound Open Banking connections. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership, clear communication with stakeholders, and a disciplined approach to translating business requirements into reliable API solutions.

What's the Job?

Represent the Open Banking team across the organization and help align technical execution with the broader platform direction. Lead team discussions and guide technical decisions to ensure features are delivered with quality and consistency. Support inbound and outbound Open Banking connections with a heavy focus on APIs and integrations between the bank and external applications. Translate business requirements into technically sound solutions, ensuring the “why” and “what” are clear before implementation.

Work closely with small Operations teams to coordinate execution, resolve issues, and keep delivery moving.

What's Needed?

Strong Java development background with progression into a Lead Developer, Team Lead, Technical Project Manager, or similar technical leadership role. Strong experience with Jira to manage work, track progress, and support transparent delivery. Ability to understand business requirements and ensure they translate into technically sound solutions. Comfort making technical decisions and representing the team across other groups. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to ask questions, dig into problems, and avoid assumptions.
