Front Office Automation Tester​/Developer

We are seeking a Front Office Automation Tester/Developer for a 6-month contract position based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role supports a Capital Markets team focused on swaps and fixed-income trading systems that is currently in a period of significant growth, including expanded testing ownership for the Polaris swaps trading platform.

• Develop and maintain automation code within existing API, web UI, and data testing frameworks
• Build and enhance test automation using Python, leveraging approximately 60% of the framework already in place
• Collaborate with Agile development and business analysis teams to design and execute test cases
• Work with front-office trading systems and user interfaces to validate functionality and performance
• Integrate automation into enterprise CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows
• Validate swaps trading workflows, including deal ticket creation, confirmation, clearing, payments, and settlement processes

• Strong Python programming and development skills
• Hands-on experience with swaps, derivatives, or fixed-income capital markets trading systems
• Demonstrated understanding of swaps trade life cycles, deal tickets, and settlement processes
• API automation and testing experience
• Experience with page object models and test framework design
• Familiarity with enterprise CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
• Ability to work three days per week on-site in the Charlotte office

• Swagger and OpenAPI specification experience
• Cucumber and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks
• Open Fin or Chromium-based UI testing
• Git Hub integration and workflows
• Docker and Kubernetes containerization
• Hands-on experience with trading platforms such as Murex, Summit, Sophis, Charles River/CRD, or Aladdin
• Knowledge of CSA notices, regulatory reporting, and clearing processes
