Our client, technology and enterprise software solutions is seeking a Applications/Software Developer 5 to join their team. As a Applications/Software Developer 5, you will be part of the IT Applications team supporting People Soft Supply Chain Management (SCM) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a detail-oriented approach to technical documentation, and the drive to collaborate across teams to deliver reliable business solutions.
Job Title: People Soft SCM Developer
Location: (Remote: EST coast timezone specific, Normal hours 8am-5pm with some flexibility)
Pay Range: $80 -$85/hr
What's the Job?- Design, develop, test, and deploy People Soft 9.2 enhancements and customizations for Supply Chain Management.
- Build and support integrations between People Soft and external applications, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound data flow.
- Develop and maintain People Code, Application Engine programs, and technical objects that support business processes.
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments, including troubleshooting during release cycles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues while following code review and development best practices.
- 3+ years of People Soft development experience supporting People Soft 9.2.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting People Soft applications.
- Experience supporting SIT and UAT activities, including validating fixes and participating in deployment readiness.
- Strong People Soft 9.2 SCM module experience across Inventory Management, Order Management, Warehouse Operations, and Manufacturing.
- Technical skills including People Soft Application Designer, People Code, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, and SQL.
- Work on meaningful People Soft SCM solutions where your development and integration expertise directly impacts business operations.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable technical outcomes.
- Strengthen your end-to-end delivery skills across design, development, testing, and production deployment.
- Contribute to code reviews and maintain high-quality standards through technical design and documentation.
- Operate in a structured environment with normal hours (8am-5pm) and some flexibility while supporting EST coast timezone needs.
