Lead Mobile Engineer (React Native)
Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Mobile Engineer (React Native) to drive the design,development, delivery, and ongoing optimization of our mobile applications.

This role combines strong technical leadership with hands-on engineeringresponsibilities and will focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences across our retail consumer, business, and treasury management mobile platforms.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in React Native development, a proven track record of leading engineering teams,and the ability to guide technical direction while remaining actively involved in application design and development. This individual will partner closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, architects, and QA teamsto deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality mobile solutions. This is ahighly collaborative role requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise mobile applications.

Provide technical leadership and day-to-day direction to a team of Mobile Engineers.

Drive architecture and design decisions while ensuring adherence to engineering best practices.

Remain hands-on with coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.

Collaborate with Product, Business, Architecture, Security, and QA teams to deliver innovative digital experiences.

Mentor engineers and support their technical growth and development.

Lead technical design discussions and provide guidance on complex implementation challenges.

Ensure applications meet standards for security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Champion automation, process improvements, and engineering excellence across the team.

Support application releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Evaluate and responsibly leverage modern development tools, including AI-assisted engineering solutions, to improve team productivity and software quality.

Required Technical Skills Mobile Development Expert -level experience with React Native and cross-platform mobile application development.

Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting production mobile applications.

Experience releasing and maintaining applications in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Experience developing mobile applications in complex, multi-tiered enterprise environments.

Expertise in mobile application architecture, performance optimization, and API integration.

Front-End Development Strong  proficiency in:
React React Hooks Java Script  (ES6+)TypeScriptAPI& Integration Experience integrating with enterprise APIs, including: REST APIsSOAP services

DevOps& Delivery

Experience with source control and change management best practices.

Experience with CI/CD, build automation, and deployment tools such as:
Git Hub Actions Jenkins Similar  enterprise automation platforms

Testing& Quality

Experience with automated testing frameworks and modern testing practices.

Knowledge of mobile application testing, debugging, monitoring, and release management.

AI-Enabled Development Experience  leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as:

Cursor Claude Similar  AI engineering platforms

Ability to effectively utilize AI tools to improve development efficiency, code quality, and productivity while maintaining strong engineering judgment and independent technical problem-solving skills.

Leadership Qualifications Minimum  2+ years of experience leading or managing software engineering teams.

Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers.

Experience leading technical design sessions and driving engineering decisions.

Proven ability to influence stakeholders across business and technology teams.

Strong ownership mindset with a focus on execution and results.

Ability to balance hands-on development responsibilities with leadership duties.

Preferred Qualifications Experience  within Financial Services, Banking, or highly regulated industries.

Experience supporting customer-facing digital products erience delivering complex web applications.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern software delivery practices.
