We are seeking a Java Developer with strong experience in enterprise application development and banking systems. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining applications within core banking environments, with a particular emphasis on Oracle FLEXCUBE and related modules.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java/J2EE technologies, strong database skills, and experience integrating banking systems and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java/J2EE technologies
- Work with Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking Solution (FCUBS) for implementation and customization
- Develop and support Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM), including workflow customization and integrations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL code
- Implement and integrate web services (REST/SOAP) with internal and external systems
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
- Work within Unix/Linux environments and support scripting as needed
- Ensure adherence to banking standards, compliance requirements, and development best practices
- Participate in Agile development processes and team collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE (Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC)
- Proven experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking Solution (FCUBS)
- Experience with Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM), including workflow customization and integration
- Strong understanding of core banking modules such as CASA, Payments, Loans, Trade Finance, or Retail Banking
- Experience with PL/SQL, Oracle Database, and SQL performance tuning
- Knowledge of web services (REST and SOAP) and system integrations
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Understanding of banking compliance and regulatory standards
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise banking applications
