Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join ahigh-performing Digital Technology team supporting Merchant Services Onboardinginitiatives. This role focuses on designing and developing scalable backendapplications and APIs that drive critical business processes.

Theideal candidate will have strong enterprise-level development experience working with modern Java technologies, microservices architecture, and API development.

Required

Qualifications5+ years of enterprise-level backend development experience

Strong hands-on experience with:
Java Spring Framework Spring Boot Microservices ArchitectureRESTful API Development Experience building and supporting scalable, high-availability applications

Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications Java Script  experience

Experience working on customer-facing digital platforms

Familiarity with cloud-based and distributed application architectures

Key Responsibilities Design , develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot Build and enhance microservices-based applications

Develop, test, and support REST APIsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions

Troubleshoot and resolve production and development issues

Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $64.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
