We are seeking a QA Automation Appium Engineer for a 12-month contract position based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Responsibilities- Design and develop mobile automation frameworks, preferably from scratch
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for Android and iOS applications using Appium
- Build and execute automated regression testing
- Perform functional and UI testing across mobile platforms
- Troubleshoot test failures and conduct defect analysis
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines
- Write and optimize shell scripts to support test automation
- 8+ years of SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) or QA Automation experience
- Expertise in Java
- Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile test automation
- Proficiency with Selenium and TestNG
- Experience with Android and iOS testing
- Automation framework design and development experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or Perforce
- Shell scripting skills
- Experience building mobile automation frameworks from scratch
