Our coaches guide clients through our signature 50‑minute, low‑impact, high‑intensity classes. They educate clients on proper machine use and motivate them to push through challenging workouts, delivering personalized attention in a small, energetic group environment.

All coaches undergo a comprehensive training program that is highly selective and geared toward individualized development. While prior fitness teaching experience or certification is not required, coaches must be able to think quickly, support clients at varying skill levels, and embody our brand’s culture of community and inclusiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Participate in team meetings and events.
  • Learn new techniques and best practices from the coach community.
  • Interact with and build relationships with clients and the fitness community.
  • Embody the [solidcore] brand and culture.
  • Create a welcoming, inclusive fitness space for all backgrounds and abilities.
  • Perform routine client‑facing system tasks (new account set‑up, scheduling, class enrollment, package purchases, etc.).
  • Tour prospective clients, explain the workout science, and demo the workout.
  • Regularly gather, assess, and address client needs and satisfaction; respond to requests promptly.
  • Maintain product knowledge for studio retail operations (classes, apparel, promos).
  • Communicate studio issues, events, or schedule changes to clients and teammates.
  • Assist the Area Manager and other coaches with daily operations, studio cleanliness, and client experience.
  • Report employee or client complaints to the studio management team and help resolve them.
  • Address visible maintenance or equipment issues quickly.
  • Generate sales via communication with studio leads (axel, phone, email).
  • Follow up with client lists in axel to meet monthly sales quota and respond to client emails.
  • Inform coaches of client milestones and set up celebration keychains and boards.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Availability to coach a minimum of 6 classes per week.
  • Part‑time coaching/core crew role.
  • Lift up to 30 lbs and walk through all studio areas.
  • Flexible schedule covering mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and closing hours.
  • High‑school education; some college preferred.
  • Optimism, hard work, and a passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout.
  • Desire to help others reach their strongest selves.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Prior group fitness experience is a plus but not required.
  • Outgoing, personable, and eager to build relationships within the community.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, genuine inspiration, and professional reliability.
  • Comfortable mic‑leading a high‑energy class.
  • Preferred: 1 year sales experience, MBO experience, outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to take initiative and perform duties without direction.
  • Ability to stand for long durations.
Availability Requirements
  • Minimum of 15 weekday hours (Mon‑Fri) and one full weekend day per week.
  • Coach at least three holidays per year (summer, winter, pre/post).
  • Coach a minimum of six classes, nine hours per week.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $10/hr for Core Crew plus sales commission.
