Purpose of the PositionThe Pilot is responsible for delivering a superior air transportation experience with a safety record second to none. The Pilot serves as the face of Net Jets, providing safe flight operations and an exceptional service experience for each Net Jets Owner and passenger.
Tasks and Responsibilities- Operate the aircraft safely from taxi, take‑off, to landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, Net Jets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
- Greet owners/passengers pre‑flight, make introductions, provide flight/trip briefings, and update passengers on weather and itinerary changes.
- Deliver in‑flight service as required, including serving alcohol and catering.
- Load and stow baggage properly on the aircraft.
- Conduct flights for owners with pets or who smoke.
- Serve as the final authority on all operational aspects of the aircraft, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidance.
- Act as liaison between owners/passengers and Net Jets from arrival at the FBO until final destination.
- Communicate and document any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and complete necessary paperwork.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on the role.

EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent.
Certifications and Licenses- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)

- At least 21 years of age.
- At least 1,500 total flight hours (alternatives with R‑ATP certifications or military qualification count as specified).
- 200 hours cross‑country (>50 NM), 250 hours fixed‑wing PIC, 100 hours night flying (or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs/landings).
- 75 hours instrument time.
- 50 hours fixed‑wing, multi‑engine time.
- Current FAA First‑Class Medical certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.
- Valid U.S. passport and ability to travel internationally.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel without restriction.
- Flexible schedule (day, night, weekdays, weekends, holidays).
- Ability to manage rest and maintain readiness for flight duty.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Professional demeanor and neat appearance.
- Physical capability to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds as required.
- Experience with animals and ability to conduct flights for owners who smoke.
