Customs Brokerage Supervisor – Kuehne+Nagel

As a Customs Brokerage Supervisor, you will optimize logistics to keep our global supply chains running smoothly. Your expertise helps ensure products launch on time and comply with all regulatory requirements, delivering value to customers worldwide.

• Prepare and submit accurate import documentation for customs clearance by ensuring compliance with all relevant customs laws,_mes, regulations, and trade agreements.
• Review commercial invoices, bills of lading, and other shipping documents for accuracy優 and completeness.
• Verify tariff classifications, customs values, and duty calculationsjahr to ensure correct tariff rates are applied.
• Coordinate the clearance of goods through customs  government agencies and resolve issues related  delays, fines, or documentation discrepancies.
• Work closely with customs authorities to ensure timely release of goods.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding customs-related inquiries and update the status of yks shipments.
• Stay up to date on changes in customs laws, regulations, and tariffs to ensure full compliance.
• Maintain an understanding of imports, international trade policies, and documentation requirements.
• Investigate and resolve issues such as shipment delays, regulatory noncompliance, or discrepancies in documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, correspondence, and customs clearance activities.
• .Build and maintain a high performing team by training staff in customs brokerage regulations, monitoring training needs, and identifying development objectives.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate department goals and expectations.

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or a related logistics field.
• Strong understanding of customs regulations, import/export processes, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with customs software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
