Warehouse Manager - Charlotte, NC

Overview

Priority Wire and Cable is in need of a great Warehouse Manager for Charlotte, NC. The candidate should possess good management skills, the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities pertaining to the operations of a distribution facility in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations. Relocation package included.

• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use sit-down forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move product within the facility
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, with attention to detail
• Work at a fast pace and be flexible to work overtime as needed

• Safety: PPE provided; monthly safety meetings and reviews
• Surroundings:
  Working around moving machines – order pickers, forklifts, heavy reels
• Activity:
  Standing and cutting wire in one place for long periods, pushing heavy reels to machines, and getting dirty while working
• Temperature:
  Non-climate controlled warehouse; hot conditions possible
• Noise Level: May be noisy; hearing protection available if needed
• Dress code:
  Relaxed with safety footwear required (ASTM F2413). Annual safety footwear voucher available. Company shirts provided after 90 days.

• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
• 4-5 years warehouse experience; wire distribution experience preferred
• Experience managing people
• Proficient math and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Candidates must be 18 years or older and able to understand and follow all job requirements and safety guidelines
• Previous wire and cable experience is a plus
