As a Used Car Technician you will perform mechanical repairs on trade-ins as well as auction purchases in order to make them front line ready. You will be responsible for performing a Used Car Inspection and make recommendations to ensure the safety and quality of vehicles for sale. Quality vehicles ensure the customer experiences The Sweetest Way To Buy or Sell Your Car.
Honey Car s simple process, transparent market pricing, desirable inventory, and daily onsite training will ensure a successful outcome for the Used Car technician and the customer!

- Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnoses the cause of most malfunctions and performs repair.
- Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Persistent, competitive and have a good work ethic
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
- Communicates with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
- Automotive dealership experience is preferred
- Valid Virginia State Inspector s license.
- Ability to work well in a process driven environment
- Strong commitment to provide exceptional customer service
- Valid driver s license. Must be insurable on company insurance policy
- Ability to perform inspections that may require bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
