The Team

Join a team that develops your financial knowledge, S&P product expertise, problem‑solving skills, and professional communication. You will serve on the Capital Markets Client Services team, where you help clients resolve their issues, interpret our data, and navigate the Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro platforms. Working as a team is essential in this role. Additionally, Client Services interacts with many internal teams, including Sales, Content, Product, and Technical Support.

About

the Role

After approximately 1–2 months of training and mentorship, you will begin to support clients over the phone, via web chats and e‑mail. Beyond learning how to communicate with clients, you will receive deep‑dive training on our data, present group projects, learn about our customer segments, and gain exposure to additional S&P Global platforms. Participants must complete required certification exams along with a rigorous evaluation process that will test skills and capabilities.

This role is built to provide on‑the‑job training and networking opportunities that will prepare you for a successful career in S&P Global’s Market Intelligence division. The role seeks to attract high‑achievers from a diverse pool of undergraduate institutions.

What We’re Looking For
  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) completed before March 2026 preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or business.
  • Ability to join a class of new hires in March 2026.
  • Relationship Management:
    Passion for building relationships with finance professionals and enthusiasm for learning and working in the financial services industry.
  • Teamwork:
    Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well with people from varying backgrounds.
  • Communication:
    Strong communication and customer‑service skills to effectively resolve client concerns and promote SPGMI product usage.
  • Proficiency:
    Effective problem‑solving, time‑management, and organizational skills are also required.
Compensation / Benefits

Anticipated base salary range: $50,000–$55,000. Final base salary will be based on geographical location.

In addition to base compensation, the role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

This role is limited to persons with an indefinite right to work in the United States.

All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
