UVA Health System is seeking Primary Care Providers to join our growing Virginia team!

UVA Health is a world-class academic medical center and health system with a level 1 trauma center, a nationally recognized cancer center, and UVA Children’s Hospital. Our footprint also encompasses three community hospitals and an integrated network of primary and specialty care clinics throughout Charlottesville, Culpeper, Northern Virginia, and beyond. Through teaching and research, we continue to advance medicine and innovate excellence while providing high-quality care.

As we begin the implementation of our Strategic Plan, One Future Together | Health and Hope for All we are pleased to announce our plans to significantly expand primary care services at UVA Health; doing so will support our patients, team members and encourages healthy living that enhances well-being.

Effective immediately, we plan to open multiple additional primary care sites in the City of Charlottesville, Culpeper, Northern Virginia and beyond in order to meet the vastly increasing needs of our patient community and our own workforce. We’ll do this by recruiting additional providers into the UVA School of Medicine Departments of Pediatrics, Family Medicine and Internal Medicine as well as into the UVA Community Health Medical Group, with the goal of hiring a significant number of additional providers over the coming year.
