The Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Medicine at the University of Virginia (UVA) seeks candidates for Assistant Professor positions on the Clinical Faculty track. The selected candidates will provide inpatient and outpatient care to patients with rheumatic diseases, as well as participate in the education and clinical training of rheumatology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to medical education.
Interest in scholarship/quality improvement and health equity will be viewed favorably. Opportunities to participate in funded research and scholarly activity may also be available. Individuals from underrepresented-in-medicine groups are highly encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate must have an M.D. degree with board certification in Internal Medicine and ABIM board-eligible/certified in Rheumatology by the appointment start date.
