The Department of Anesthesiologyat the University of Virginia School of Medicine seeks applications for a full-time position of Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology.
Responsibilities- Teach Anesthesiology courses to fellows, residents, and medical students
- Provide clinical care and medical supervision of residents and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
- Conduct Research
- Additional duties as assigned.

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
This position
will not

Education:
Medical Doctorate or equivalent degree; completion of an Anesthesiology Residency Program.
Licensure: A valid medical license;
American Board of Anesthesiology Certified or certification eligible.
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. This role does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and/or programs.
