The Department of Dermatology () at the University of Virginia is seeking candidates for a part-time, tenure-ineligible Assistant or Associate Professor of Dermatology to primarily work in our outpatient clinics. A commitment to teaching, clinical excellence, and academic scholarship is essential. Duties include teaching residents and medical students, direct patient care, and participation in scholarly activities.
The University of Virginia Department of Dermatology, founded in 1924, is the oldest dermatology department in the South. Its mission is to improve health and human life through excellent patient care, advancing dermatology, and fostering professional development in health care.

Qualified candidates must have an MD and be ABMS board-certified or board-eligible in dermatology. Candidates dually board certified or eligible in dermatopathology are encouraged to apply. There may be opportunities to perform dermatopathology one day a week. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in Virginia. Rank depends on qualifications, experience, scholarly achievement, clinical service, and research.
