Clinical faculty member in Pediatric Genetics, at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.
Responsibilities:- Staff general genetic and metabolic clinics in Charlottesville and satellite clinics in Winchester, Lynchburg, and Bristol.
- Provide inpatient consultation services.
- Respond promptly to newborn screening triage cases.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including genetic counselors, dieticians, and administrative staff.
- Contribute to clinical care and potentially engage in research.
- MD or DO degree with eligibility for faculty appointment.
- Board certification or eligibility in clinical genetics, with preference for biochemical genetics certification.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Research interest is desirable but not required.
