Overview

Alpha is committed to transforming education, and we seek a forward-thinking leader to unlock exceptional opportunities for our students. If you excel at cultivating high-performing teams and possess a genuine commitment to pioneering youth development, this position offers a meaningful opportunity to drive lasting change.

This role provides the independence and resources necessary to elevate our evidence-based learning methodology. Grounded in the science of learning and enhanced by adaptive technology, we are expanding the boundaries of educational achievement. Your expertise will be essential in actualizing this vision.

You will serve as the coach, strategist, and driver behind our Guides – the frontline learning facilitators who motivate rather than merely instruct. Your leadership will determine how Alpha Guides engage with students, encompassing everything from creating operational playbooks and feedback systems to demonstrating exemplary facilitation techniques.

This position merges advanced coaching capabilities with direct engagement in youth development. You will lead a team dedicated to ensuring our students achieve excellence and discover latent abilities and essential life competencies. If you have exceeded benchmarks, reversed underperforming initiatives, or accomplished what others deemed unattainable, you belong here.

Why Alpha?
  • Competitive compensation – we maintain that working in education should not require financial sacrifice
  • Comprehensive benefits and time off – we prioritize our team through robust benefits and paid leave
  • Development-focused environment – we embody the growth mindset we instill in our students, providing coaching, professional development, and leadership pathways
  • Relocation support offered to exceptional candidates

If you understand what it takes to assemble an outstanding team, join Alpha and help us redefine education.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Developing and training a team of Guides to execute the Alpha learning system at a world-class standard
  • Authoring Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices, the design of engaging learning experiences, and strategies for overcoming obstacles
  • Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that enhances student engagement and outcomes
  • Personally coaching a small group of students to demonstrate advanced mentoring and motivational techniques
What You Won't Be Doing
  • Creating lesson plans – your Guides support student learning via adaptive applications; your priority is training them as outstanding facilitators
  • Compromising standards – when our benchmark is 100% mastery, your responsibility is to uphold that expectation
  • Conducting dull training sessions – you will guide Guides through dynamic, interactive, and energizing professional development
