Base Pay Range
$17.00/hr - $19.00/hr
Lead infant teacher needed at a licensed child care center. Applicant must qualify as a lead teacher through the Department of Education licensing standards and be a team player with a passion for nurturing students emotionally and developmentally.
Duties- Showing care and compassion to the students in your care.
- Writing and implementing a developmentally appropriate and engaging syllabus for the classroom.
- Effectively communicating with students, parents and co‑workers.
- Keeping a sense of humor and handling a fast‑paced environment.
- TB test and FBI background check prior to start date.
- CDA/Associate’s or equivalent degree in Early Childhood Education and/or the requisite experience to qualify as a lead teacher.
- CPR/FA certification within the first 30 days.
- MAT certification within the first 90 days.
- Completion of Virginia Preservice Training and Health and Safety Update within the first 30 days.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish.
