Sales Engineer
Colonial Webb is looking for a Project Engineer to support our sales team and achieve revenue growth for our Service Projects team! This activity is design build in nature focusing on owner direct clients.

- Collaborate with client and sales team to develop scope and specific project bid strategies that will provide Colonial Webb with competitive advantages
- Survey and gather information required to estimate and propose work. Examples of required information may include:
- Sizing and equipment selections
- Creating drawings/sketches for permitting purposes
- Gathering quotes from subcontractors
- Advise team of any potential hazards associated with the work
- Generate proposals drafts for management and administrative review.
- Utilize Colonial Webb procedures for go-no-go, CRM documentation, bid review and signature authority.
- Provide technical assistance in negotiating contracts, change orders, etc. as required
- Support Operations Team by:
- Reviewing estimates of other sales individuals
- Communicating job scope and requirements to the operations team via a job turn-over meeting
- Mentoring members of installation team
- Utilizing and drive adoption of software tools such as XOi and/or Canvas
- Experience in the HVAC, Plumbing and/or Electrical Industry
- Experience in both Sales and/ or Service Operations
- Ability to utilize laptop computer and Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel)
- Demonstrate proficiency with keyboarding and data entry skills
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, design and service
- Possess strong analysis and problem-solving skills
