** We’re looking for a
** Mechanical Engineer
** who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about designing innovative electro-mechanical products. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in developing new solutions and improving existing systems to boost automation, efficiency, and manufacturability. If you’re driven, collaborative, and eager to make an impact, we want to hear from you!
** What You’ll Do
*** Lead the design and development of mechanical and electro-mechanical products.
* Collaborate with manufacturing to identify and implement design improvements.
* Create and refine designs using
** 3D CAD software (Inventor)**.
* Build and test prototypes to validate performance and reliability.
* Select materials that balance cost, performance, and availability.
* Ensure manufacturability and component availability during design.
* Define success metrics for new products (cost, size, function, etc.).
* Perform
** Process Capability Analysis
** for consistent production quality.
* Develop and maintain documentation: BOMs, assembly drawings, manuals, and more.
* Design test fixtures and maintain quality validation records.
* Partner with manufacturing, purchasing, and marketing for smooth product launches.
** What We’re Looking For
*** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* ** 2+ years
** of experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical design (manufacturing environment preferred).
* Proficiency in
** Inventor
* * and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Lean Six Sigma certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Hands-on troubleshooting experience (electrical and mechanical).
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and process capability analysis.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
* Familiarity with automation, machine design, or process optimization is a plus.
