Tax Expert – Onsite (Seasonal)
Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Turbo Tax team as Seasonal Local Service Experts in new Turbo Tax locations across the United States. This role combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs.
AboutThe Role
Work on‑site from a Turbo Tax location, serving customers both in‑person and virtually using Intuit Turbo Tax products. Provide full service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support for a range of clients—from simple W‑2 filings to complex business income, amendments, and investments.
What You’ll Do- Provide tax expertise—give hands‑on advice, prepare returns, perform tax reviews, and deliver personalized tax planning advice.
- Serve as a community ambassador—engage prospects, organize local events, and build long‑term client relationships.
- Educate and communicate confidently—represent Turbo Tax in the local community and through marketing initiatives.
- Build lasting relationships—understand clients’ financial concerns and foster trust.
- Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience—interact in person and via Intuit’s video tools, addressing inquiries and overcoming tax challenges.
- Active EA, CPA, or practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
- Active PTIN holder.
- Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ individual 1040 returns per season using professional software.
- Familiarity with Circular 230.
- Willingly available to work a statically scheduled at least 24 hrs per week at a Turbo Tax location.
- Interested in building a local and online presence as a Turbo Tax Expert.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.

- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
- Must reside in the United States.
- Must possess or be able to obtain any required state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
Competitive base pay ranges by region; eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on experience, job‑related knowledge, and location.
