A 16-20 hour in-person or virtual and 20 hour e-learning training course along with a Skills Check Registered Nurse, Instructor.

Visiting Angels of Charlottesville is a medical non-skilled home care organization that provides assistance with Activities of Daily Living & independent Activities of Daily Living to the aging in place population and veterans.

• Caregiver experience or a compassionate person to be a caregiver

Visiting Angels requires ALL caregivers to pass a state-mandated criminal background check, reference check, and drug screen.

Do you hold a current healthcare certificate/license?

Can you pass an extensive criminal history background check?

Can you pass a state mandatory drug screen?

Do you have a valid driver's license? (All of our caregivers may be required to drive our clients)

Do you have your own personal reliable transportation? (Due to HIPAA law, you may not be dropped off to our client's home)

Are you willing to drive our client in your vehicle?

Are you willing to work with animals? (Our caregivers are required to assist with pet care for our client's animals.)

Are you or do you plan to be COVID-19 vaccinated?
