Advanced Practice Provider - Urology

Sentara Medical Group is seeking an Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider to join Sentara Martha Jefferson s dynamic and growing Urology practice in Charlottesville, Virginia. Enjoy the stunning mountain views while touring the various breweries and wineries that Charlottesville has to offer or explore the many hiking trails, historical sites, and shopping opportunities that prove to be limitless.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule:
  
  Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM;
  No evenings or weekends
• Be part of a well-established team of 2 physicians and 1 APP
• Inpatient responsibilities include hospital rounding, consults, discharges, and occasional time in the OR
• Outpatient duties involve managing follow-up visits, pre- and post-operative evaluations, catheter care, and reviewing labs, biopsies, and imaging; bladder scans and more
• Perform a variety of procedures such as Foley insertions, uroflow/urodynamics, cystoscopies, and vasectomies
• Maintain an independent patient panel of approximately 12 15 patients per day
• No call requirements at this time
