CRNA locum position in Charlottesville, Virginia; VA

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced CRNA to work locum shifts in Charlottesville, Virginia (VA). Start date is as soon as credentialed, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The CRNA role:

Schedule & Call Requirements:

No Call Required

Flexible weekly schedule:

Option 1: 4 shifts per week (10 hours each)

Option 2: 3 shifts per week (12-13 hours each)

• One rotating Saturday per month
• Consistent weekly availability preferred (not rotating weeks on/off)

Shift Times:

• Typical 12-hour shifts: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Clinical Areas:

• PACU / Post-Anesthesia Care / Recovery
• Main OR, Outpatient Surgery Center, Endoscopy Center
• Opportunity to practice across multiple locations

Patient Population:

• Ages 13 through end of life
• Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults

Department Overview:

• Level 1 Trauma Center
• Team includes:
  • 60 CRNAs
  • 70 Attending Anesthesiologists
  • 60 Anesthesia Residents
• Coverage:
  • 33 ORs in Main OR
  • 16 offsite anesthesia locations
  • 12 outpatient surgery rooms
  • 4 GI rooms

Requirements of the CRNA role:

VA state license; active, unrestricted

Board certified- NBCRNA

BLS and ACLS , VA DEA

Must have 2 years of CRNA experienc e
