- Education:
High School Graduate or Equivalent. - Experience:
Minimum of 5 years as a medic level provider. - Licensure/
Certifications:
Certified as an EMT-Paramedic or EMT-Intermediate with the Virginia Department of Health/Office of Emergency Medical Services. Certification in Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) or equivalency. ACLS and BLS provider required (instructor certifications preferred).
- Education:
Associate’s Degree in Paramedic Preferred. - Experience:
Previous Supervisory Experience Preferred. EMS experience in a dual volunteer/career system model preferred. - Licensure/
Certifications:
PALS NRP/STABLE ITLS/PHTLS provider preferred.
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling, climbing (ladder, steps) and driving. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills;
Attention to detail and ability to write legibly;
Ability to lift/push/pull > 100lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, cold, heat, noise, outdoor climate, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
- The pay rate for this role starts at $63,939 annually. New hire compensation will be determined by education and experience.
Background checks and pre‑employment health screenings will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment. All safety‑sensitive positions with direct patient interaction also require a drug screen
